Job Description

The Solar industry is experiencing rapid growth and Gripple is in search of an experienced and competent high-level salesperson to sell in to the utility scale renewable energy market. This person will be intimately familiar with the sales process and possess full knowledge of how to prospect, pitch, and close a value-added product through our unique value proposition. This position does require travel throughout the United States (70%).

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Must have a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in technical sales

· Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with a sales process

· Must have strong time management skills

· Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

· Must have strong presentation skills in large groups

· Must be able to show critical thinking skills as it relates to business strategy

· Must have solid computer skills, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Must be able to learn and utilize a CRM platform

· Must have the ability to work with an internal technical support team while taking lead on sales closing

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

· Power Generation, Electrical or Solar experience

· Engineering, Technical, or Business Degree

· Estimating experience as it pertains to Solar or Electrical or other construction trades
